Medical components
The material of RSP is used in the orthopaedic industry as a replacement for titanium which is heavier and more difficult to work on. These titanium components are often used for external prostheses en other medical appliances and aids. Aluminium is considerably lighter than titanium and consequently the final products are also lighter in comparison to those manufactured previously.
